He acknowledged his father’s reputation for effective administration and commitment to the people, aiming to follow in his footsteps by earning a good name through dedicated service. Yathindra affirmed Siddaramaiah’s continued leadership within the AHINDA communities, highlighting his resolve to combat communal forces and uphold constitutional values in Karnataka politics.
Praising D.K. Shivakumar for his administrative and organizational prowess, Yathindra expressed confidence in his ability to steer Karnataka towards progress. He assured full support from himself and other party leaders to Shivakumar in advancing the state’s development agenda.
Regarding his portfolio, Yathindra mentioned readiness to work in any department assigned to him, emphasizing his commitment to serving honestly and diligently. He also anticipated the inclusion of senior Congress leader H.C. Mahadevappa in the Cabinet during a future expansion, citing his mass appeal and strong support base.
