Kharge emphasized the Congress’s intention to raise the issue of student assaults in Parliament. He questioned the government’s approach towards the demonstrations and criticized the lack of opportunity for Opposition voices to be heard. Referring to a meeting between Union Minister J.P. Nadda and representatives of a group, Kharge demanded transparency regarding the discussions held.
The Congress President underscored the importance of discussing the use of force against protesters and warned against potential unrest. He accused the government of hindering Opposition MPs from functioning freely during parliamentary proceedings. Kharge condemned what he perceived as a move towards anarchy and criticized the government’s handling of dissent.
Reiterating the party’s commitment, Kharge affirmed that the Opposition would persist in addressing issues concerning students and other public interests. He raised questions about the government’s treatment of youth and vowed to continue advocating for their rights and concerns.
