A potential disaster was averted in Rajasthan as vehicles in the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa collided with another vehicle near a resort in the Udaipurwati Ghat area of Jhunjhunu district. Fortunately, the Deputy Chief Minister emerged unharmed, and no injuries were sustained by anyone involved. The incident took place around 10:45 a.m. while Bairwa was en route to a function at a private school in Gudhagorsiji, approximately 16 kilometers away from the accident site.
The collision occurred when BJP leader J.P. Khatana mistakenly drove his car into the path of the convoy while trying to enter the nearby resort. An escort vehicle from Bairwa’s convoy lost control during this incident and collided with Khatana’s car. Eyewitnesses mentioned that Bairwa’s vehicle had already passed the area safely before the collision.
The clash mainly involved the escort vehicle of the Deputy Chief Minister and the car of the BJP leader, resulting in damage to the headlights and front portions of both vehicles. Fortunately, no significant harm was caused to the cars, and no injuries were reported. Following the mishap, the Deputy Chief Minister’s convoy was briefly stopped as a security precaution.
Security personnel assessed the situation, checked the vehicle damage, and ensured the safety of all convoy members before allowing them to proceed towards their destination. After the inspection, Bairwa continued to the MG Global School in Gudhagorsiji, where he participated in an event as the chief guest, alongside Bollywood actress Hema Malini, who was also present.
