The death toll in Arunachal Pradesh’s Keyi Panyor district climbed to two as rescuers found the body of a 30-year-old woman in the NEEPCO Colony. Despite challenging conditions, search teams are still looking for three missing individuals. The deceased woman was identified by local residents.
Search and rescue operations by the State Disaster Response Force and Keyi Panyor Police are ongoing to find the three missing persons from the flash flood incident. The missing individuals are Elesh Marak (13), Tao Anjina (46), and Sourav Kumar (48). The Potin-Kimin highway in the district remains blocked due to landslides.
Police are stationed at vulnerable spots along the route to assist in landslide-clearance operations and ensure public safety. Efforts are underway to restore the road, with priority given to emergency vehicles and essential supplies. An Indian Air Force helicopter was deployed for relief operations.

Officials expressed grief over the loss of life and concern for those still missing. The injured have been hospitalized for treatment.
