Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enhancing India’s global reputation during a public event in Lucknow. He highlighted the government’s effective management of LPG supplies amidst the West Asia conflict, attributing India’s improved global stature to PM Modi’s leadership and the citizens’ contributions. Singh emphasized India’s transformation from one of the ‘fragile five’ economies in 2014 to one of the top four economies, underscoring the nation’s significant achievements.
Singh also acknowledged India’s balanced approach during the West Asian crisis, noting the minimal impact on LPG and fuel supplies compared to other nations. Despite price hikes in various countries, India managed to maintain stable fuel prices. He credited PM Modi for skillfully navigating the crisis to protect citizens and highlighted the ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace talks.
During his visit to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly museum, Singh reflected on his political journey as the state’s former Chief Minister. Impressed by the museum’s portrayal of democratic traditions, he encouraged people to explore the rich history of the Assembly. Singh lauded the Assembly’s commitment to democratic values and public engagement, urging citizens to visit the museum and appreciating the government’s efforts in preserving heritage.
