Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for falsely alleging that teachers in Delhi were being tasked with counting stray dogs. This condemnation followed assertions by Delhi AAP President Saurabh Bharadwaj and MLA Sanjeev Jha that teachers would be involved in such a duty. However, Delhi’s Education Minister and the Chairman of the Delhi Municipal Corporation’s Education Committee clarified that no such directive had been issued.
Sachdeva expressed disappointment that despite clear clarifications from the government and the Municipal Corporation, Kejriwal persisted in spreading misinformation about teachers being deployed for dog counting. He called for an apology from the former Chief Minister. Additionally, Sachdeva disputed Kejriwal’s claim of sending teachers to Finland for training, highlighting that this move had not significantly benefited Delhi’s education system.
The Delhi BJP President demanded that Kejriwal elucidate the actual advantages brought to Delhi’s education system by the teachers sent for training in Finland. The BJP also criticized the previous AAP government for leaving behind pollution issues, commending the current government’s progress in addressing air pollution and steering Delhi towards development under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s leadership.
