Actress Mahhi Vij recently channeled the legendary Sridevi by recreating the iconic song “Naam Mera Premkali” from the 1989 film “Chaalbaaz” with her co-stars from the show ‘Seher’. Sharing a video on Instagram, Mahhi showcased her dance moves to the popular track originally sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and penned by Anand Bakshi. The film “Chaalbaaz” is a comedy directed by Pankaj Parashar, featuring stars like Sunny Deol, Sridevi, and Rajinikanth. It tells the story of twin sisters separated at birth, one facing mistreatment while the other grows up in a different environment.
Mahhi Vij, known for her role in “Seher – Hone Ko Hai”, is currently seen alongside Rishita Kothari and Parth Samthaan in the Lucknow-based show. In a social media announcement earlier this year, Mahhi and Jay Bhanushali revealed their decision to part ways after being married since 2011. Despite their separation, they emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their three children, prioritizing peace and growth in their individual lives. The couple clarified that their choice was made with mutual respect and a focus on maintaining a positive environment for their family.
