Delhi BJP President and Union Minister of State, Harsh Malhotra, criticized the Aam Aadmi Party’s leadership for alleged hypocrisy. He accused the AAP of ignoring a high-tech cheating racket uncovered in Punjab, where the party holds power. Malhotra specifically targeted AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal and associate Manish Sisodia for their involvement in the students’ protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

Malhotra expressed disappointment in the actions of Kejriwal and Sisodia, highlighting their previous demand for the resignation of the Union Education Minister following a leaked exam paper in Punjab. He pointed out that despite being in power in Punjab, AAP failed to address a similar paper leak incident and the subsequent police brutality against students.

Referring to a statement by Sisodia at Jantar Mantar, Malhotra urged AAP leaders to uphold their commitment and demand the resignation of Punjab’s Education Minister. He also criticized attempts by certain individuals to exploit the student movement in Delhi, labeling it as regrettable.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s responsiveness to youth and student issues was commended by Malhotra, noting that a resolution was reached following discussions with the students. The agitation led by the Cockroach Janta Party was concluded after the government agreed to meet all their demands.

In addition, Malhotra mentioned PM Modi’s 136th episode of Mann Ki Baat, emphasizing Modi’s unique practice of engaging with citizens monthly without delving into political matters. He highlighted Modi’s belief in the collective participation of 140 crore Indians for the country’s progress and development.
