Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in the ‘India Innovates 2026 – World’s Biggest Hackathon’ at Bharat Mandapam, urging young innovators nationwide to contribute to Delhi’s progress through innovation and inclusion.
Gupta emphasized the importance of trust alongside technology in shaping a futuristic Delhi driven by innovation and inclusion. She highlighted the government’s dedication to integrating youthful ideas into governance to enhance public services’ accessibility, transparency, and efficiency.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of numerous young minds, participants, and delegates, focusing on artificial intelligence, robotics, and civic innovation. Gupta commended the youth for not only contemplating technology but actively working on solutions to enhance cities, democracy, and societal inclusivity.
Recognizing the potential of India’s young population, Gupta praised their energy, skills, and determination, stating that they are the nation’s greatest strength. She lauded the hackathon’s scale, with over 5,000 participants selected from a vast pool of applicants, shaping India’s digital future and influencing governance, society, and the economy.
