Kohli’s aggressive 77 and Pant’s composed 70 guided Delhi to 254/9 in 50 overs. Despite a strong start, Gujarat stumbled towards the end, getting bowled out for 247 in 47.4 overs.
Kohli showcased his fluent batting style, scoring a quick half-century off 29 balls before being dismissed for 77. Pant, the Delhi captain, played a more restrained innings, reaching his fifty and contributing to a crucial partnership with Harsh Tyagi. Vishal Jayswal’s 4-42 spell was instrumental in Gujarat’s downfall.
Gujarat’s chase seemed promising with solid partnerships, but a middle-order collapse derailed their efforts. Saurabh Chauhan and Jayswal tried to revive the innings with a 69-run stand, but ultimately, Delhi’s Prince Yadav’s sharp bowling sealed the win with just one wicket to spare.
In another match, Odisha’s Rajesh Mohanty achieved a hat-trick against Services, helping his team secure a comfortable victory. Mohanty’s exceptional bowling performance restricted Services to 83 all out, which Odisha chased down easily.
