Delhi Dangal Warriors advanced to the final of the Pro Wrestling League 2026 by narrowly defeating Maharashtra Kesari in a thrilling semi-final at the Noida Indoor Stadium. The match saw intense fluctuations, with Delhi emerging victorious with a score of 5-4. They will now face Haryana Thunders in the highly anticipated title match.

Shubham Kaushik was awarded the Player of the Match for his impressive comeback victory in the 57kg men’s category, crucial in keeping Delhi in contention. Meanwhile, Manisha Bhanvala was named Fighter of the Match for her strong performance that boosted Maharashtra’s effort in the same weight class for women.

Reflecting on the semi-final, Sujeet, a member of the Delhi team, shared insights into their strategy after facing early setbacks. He mentioned that despite losing the toss and having to field their best players later, the team remained confident of a positive outcome.

Sujeet also discussed how the team dealt with unexpected injury concerns during the match. He explained that decisions were made based on the severity of the injuries, with a focus on optimizing strategies for the final showdown.

Looking forward to the final, Sujeet confirmed his upcoming bout against Haryana Thunders’ Mongolian wrestler Tumur Ochir Tulga. The two wrestlers have a closely contested history, with their head-to-head record tied at 1-1 across tournaments. Sujeet expressed determination to perform even better in the final match.

When asked about his plans to secure a lead and potentially change the head-to-head record in his favor, Sujeet emphasized a simple strategy of giving his best effort and leaving the outcome to fate.
