Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood criticized the previous AAP government for impeding the city’s progress and launched development projects totaling Rs 1.60 crore in Janakpuri’s C1A Block and C-2 Block. Sood highlighted that Delhi’s development had stagnated over the past decade due to mismanagement and misuse of funds, causing the city to fall behind.
Residents had long requested improvements in sewer lines, water pipelines, road construction, and dense carpeting, which the current government has now initiated to revitalize Viksit Delhi. In C1A Block, projects amounting to around Rs 86.37 lakh have commenced, including sewer line installations, road construction, and dense carpeting to enhance local infrastructure.
Similarly, in the C-2 Block of Janakpuri, development endeavors worth approximately Rs 73.91 lakh have been kickstarted. These initiatives involve laying sewer lines, constructing streets with interlocking tiles, and enhancing basic civic infrastructure. The Delhi government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s leadership, is dedicated to accelerating development projects throughout the city.
Sood emphasized the government’s commitment to bolstering basic infrastructure in every Assembly constituency in Delhi to elevate the standard of living for its residents. He assured the locals of timely completion of all projects to ensure prompt access to improved civic amenities.
