Delhi’s Lok Nayak Hospital and Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital have been honored with the ‘Quality Certified’ recognition under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) framework, announced Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh. Lok Nayak Hospital scored 95.89%, while Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital achieved an impressive 96.72% in the national quality assessment process. The certification acknowledges their excellence in various healthcare areas such as OPD services, ICU facilities, Blood Bank, Labour Room, Radiology, Laboratories, Emergency Care, and Maternal Health Services.
The Health Minister emphasized the government’s focus on action over promises, highlighting the Kayakalp initiative’s emphasis on cleanliness in all Delhi government hospitals. Future plans include providing 14 MRI machines and over 25 ultrasound machines in government hospitals to enhance healthcare services. The government aims to ensure advanced healthcare services are easily accessible to all individuals across Delhi Government hospitals.
This achievement signifies a significant advancement in strengthening Delhi’s public healthcare system and showcases the government’s dedication to providing improved, modern, and dependable healthcare services to the public.
