Delhi Metro Police successfully solved a theft case at Karol Bagh Metro Station by apprehending three women accused of stealing a commuter’s wallet and valuables. The incident was reported on May 5, 2026, at the Raja Garden Metro Police Station after a complaint by P. Naga Laxmi from Uttam Nagar. The complainant alleged that her wallet, containing cash, a silver payal, a rudraksha bead, and her Aadhaar card, was stolen while she was at the ticket counter.

A dedicated police team conducted a thorough investigation by analyzing CCTV footage from the metro station and its surroundings. Through technical surveillance, the investigators identified the three suspects involved in the theft. Acting swiftly on the leads, the police team apprehended all three accused women at Shadipur Metro Station. The accused individuals were identified as Sonia (27), Sharda Rajuji Saikwad (32), and Naina (24), all residents of Anand Parbat.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in the theft. Subsequently, the police recovered cash and a silver payal belonging to the complainant based on the information provided by the accused. The three accused women have been legally bound under specific sections of the law related to citizen security and justice.
