On the first anniversary of the hit movie ‘Dragon,’ director Ashwath Marimuthu and lead actor Pradeep Ranganathan hinted at a potential sequel through their social media posts. Marimuthu’s post emphasized the number 2, sparking excitement among fans. Ranganathan also teased the sequel by sharing an image of two dragons on his social media.
Actress Kayadu Lohar, who played a key role in the film, celebrated the film’s first year by sharing behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram. ‘Dragon’ was not only a box office success but also garnered immense love and appreciation from the audience. It had a strong opening, earning 50 crores in just three days.
The movie, produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh, featured Pradeep Ranganathan, Anupama Parameswaran, and Kayadu Lohar in lead roles. The music was composed by Leon James, with cinematography by Niketh Bommi. Editing was done by Pradeep E Ragav, and stunts were coordinated by Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan. The story was co-written by Marimuthu and Ranganathan, while Marimuthu also handled the dialogues and screenplay. The film was co-directed by Ramesh Narayanan, with costumes by Dinesh Manoharan and Praveen Raja.
