Director Sanoj Mishra has claimed that the criticism against him, stemming from allegations made by Monalisa regarding inappropriate behavior, is orchestrated by the banned political group, Popular Front of India (PFI). Mishra alleged that Monalisa, influenced by her husband associated with PFI, is a victim of Love Jihad, citing her marriage as an example. He emphasized his efforts to seek justice for Monalisa, stating that the accusations against him lack evidence and are baseless.
Mishra expressed concern over the impact of these allegations on his reputation and career, attributing them to a conspiracy to divert attention from the issue of Love Jihad. He highlighted the challenges he faces due to his involvement in supporting Monalisa and criticized those who have turned against him. Mishra urged for a fair assessment of the situation and emphasized the need to distinguish truth from false accusations in the media.
Monalisa, on the other hand, had previously accused Mishra of misconduct and exploiting minor girls in the film industry. The director’s stance on Love Jihad had sparked controversy, leading to a public confrontation with Monalisa and her husband, who accused Mishra of inappropriate behavior. The situation has escalated into a public dispute, with both parties presenting conflicting accounts of the events.
