Director Tamizh, known for his work on the upcoming action film ‘Marshal’ with actor Karthi, has hinted at a potential Deepavali release for the movie this year. The film, set in 1965, has already completed two shooting schedules, totaling 48 days, with plans to resume shooting soon for the festive season. While there are speculations about the film being made in two parts and on a grand scale, no official confirmation has been provided yet.
Sources close to the production suggest that ‘Marshal’ is a significant project, featuring a star-studded cast including Kalyani Priyadarshan, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Lal, John Kokken, Easwari Rao, and Murali Sharma. The technical crew boasts talents like music composer Sai Abhyankar, cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, and editor Philomin Raj, promising a visually appealing and musically rich cinematic experience. The film is being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, with S R Prakash Babu and S R Prabhu at the helm, and co-produced by Ishan Saksena.
