Director Vignesh Raja’s Film ‘Kara’ Reveals Character Looks

The upcoming action movie ‘Kara’, directed by Vignesh Raja and starring Dhanush, features director K S Ravikumar as Kandhasaami. The production house, Vels Film International, unveiled Kandhasaami’s look on social media. Actress Mamitha Baiju’s character, Selli, was also introduced with a first look poster.
The film’s title was announced on Pongal, and a poster featuring Dhanush in an intense look was released. Director Vignesh Raja described ‘Kara’ as an emotionally rooted suspense thriller. A still of Dhanush from the film was shared earlier, showing him at an STD booth.
Apart from Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju, the movie includes a strong cast with actors like Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj in key roles. The technical crew boasts cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Sreejith Sarang, and music by G V Prakash, a National Award winner.
The story of ‘Kara’ is a collaboration between writer Alfred Prakash and director Vignesh Raja, known for their successful thriller ‘Por Thozhil’. Alfred Prakash highlighted the synergy between him and Vignesh, emphasizing the benefits of co-writing for testing ideas.
