A domestic worker in Kolkata has accused a police officer of molesting her while she was alone at his residence. The woman, who works as a cook, filed a complaint via email at the Kasba police station. The accused officer’s identity has not been disclosed.

The victim, residing in South 24 Parganas district, alleged that the officer made advances towards her after others had left the house. When she resisted, she was falsely accused of theft. The complainant claimed she was coerced into writing a statement on a blank paper.

The woman, unable to visit the police station, reported the incident via email due to receiving threats. She expressed fear and demanded strict action against the accused officer. The officer allegedly threatened her and accused her of theft, causing distress to the victim.

The allegations against the police officer have sparked concern in the community, prompting calls for a thorough investigation into the matter. The accused officer has not responded to the accusations yet. Kolkata Police authorities have acknowledged receiving the complaint and stated that they are investigating the issue.
