The unit of director Sathya Siva’s much-anticipated Tamil movie ‘Arivu’, starring Vijay Kumar and actress Kayal Anandhi, has started dubbing for the film. Sources revealed that the cast members have commenced dubbing for their roles in the movie. The shooting for ‘Arivu’ was completed by the end of April.
Director Sathya Siva shared a making video of the film on social media in early May, announcing the completion of the shoot with the caption, “#Arivu Shoot Wrapped. From vision to reality — here’s a glimpse of the making.” The video showcased the unit filming in mountainous areas, hinting at the film’s focus on education and women’s rights.
Recently, the film’s team made headlines for refurbishing a government school in Munnar, receiving praise from the locals. Some scenes of the movie were filmed at a government school in Letchmi near Ottapaarai in Munnar. The producer, Sai Vinod Jayakumar, took steps to improve the school’s facilities after noticing the lack of basic amenities for students during the shoot.
The first phase of shooting occurred in Munnar, followed by the second schedule in Theni. ‘Arivu’ will emphasize a strong social message related to women’s rights and will star Vijay Kumar, Anandhi, I M Vijayan, Deepa Shankar, and Singam Puli in significant roles. Sathyasiva, the writer and director, is known for addressing impactful social issues in his films. The movie is produced by Sai Vinod Jayakumar under Movietron Productions.
