Dwarka District Police in New Delhi have once again demonstrated their commitment to public service by recovering and returning over 160 lost or stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners. This initiative, part of their ongoing effort titled “Committed to Recover & Dedicated to Serve,” saw the district police restoring a record number of mobile phones in back-to-back ceremonies. The programme for returning the recovered mobile phones was organized under the leadership of DCP Dwarka District, Ankit Singh, on December 26 at the DCP Dwarka District office complex.

Highlighting the impact of the initiative, a press release stated that on December 26, the district police returned over 160 lost or stolen mobile phones to their owners, bringing smiles to their faces. The recoveries were made by the Monitoring Cell of Dwarka District, which diligently traced and contacted the genuine owners for the return of their devices. The team, led by ASI Jai Bhagwan, along with head constables and constables, played a crucial role in tracking and recovering the mobile phones.

Senior police officers, including DCP Dwarka Ankit Singh and Additional DCP Dwarka Saurabh Chandra, attended the event where the recovered mobile phones were handed over to their owners. The DCP praised the team’s efforts and encouraged them to continue organizing such recovery programs regularly. The press release emphasized that this initiative showcases the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of Dwarka District Police in safeguarding citizens’ property and enhancing public trust.

Dwarka Police’s consistent efforts in recovering lost mobile phones have garnered widespread appreciation from residents, underscoring the positive impact of technology-driven policing and proactive law enforcement.
