In the video, Dharmendra is seen apologizing for any unintentional mistakes and requesting forgiveness. He also encourages viewers from India and Pakistan to watch the movie, expressing his joy at being part of the project. Esha Deol, touched by the video, expressed her love for her father. Dharmendra, the elder of Sunny Deol, also shared the same video on his social media, urging people to celebrate his final film, ‘Ikkis’, in theaters this New Year. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, ‘Ikkis’ is based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, a young Param Vir Chakra recipient who sacrificed his life during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at 21. The film stars Agastya Nanda in the lead role and introduces Simar Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s niece. ‘Ikkis’ is scheduled for release on January 1, 2026.
