External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited an exhibition in Paris titled ‘Ce qui se trame – woven stories between India and France’ showcasing India’s textile heritage, expertise, and craftsmanship, highlighting the strong cultural bond between the two nations.
Jaishankar, on an official visit to France and Luxembourg from January 4-9, will engage with French leadership and hold discussions with Foreign Affairs Minister Jean Noel Barrot. The visit aims to review progress under the India-France Strategic Partnership and address global issues.
During his Luxembourg visit, Jaishankar will meet Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and engage with the Indian community. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron have recently discussed various cooperation sectors, emphasizing the strengthening of the India-France Strategic Partnership.
