The grandfather of one of the accused in the Ram Temple embezzlement case, Lavkush Mishra, revealed that their family has been given a week’s notice for the demolition of their house. Jagdamba Prasad Mishra expressed concern as the approved house plan is currently with the contractor who is unavailable. If the plan is not presented within the given timeframe, the authorities have indicated that the house will be demolished.
He questioned the validity of the notice, emphasizing that their house plan has been approved, even though land papers might not have been finalized. Mishra highlighted that the family has been informed about the presence of bulldozers at the site and stated their readiness to face any action.
In response to queries regarding alleged fund misappropriation at the Ram Temple, Mishra insisted that any demolition should only occur after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) submits its report and the accusations are proven in court. He asserted their intention to oppose any unwarranted demolition and called for due process to be followed.
Mishra mentioned plans to meet with the District Magistrate to address the situation and prevent any hasty actions. Despite the circumstances, he indicated a reluctance to involve the court at this stage. Meanwhile, another family member, Sadhana Mishra, denied any connection to the recovered funds and expressed skepticism about the allegations, suggesting the involvement of higher-profile individuals in the case.
