Dejan Drazic’s goal in the first half secured a 1-0 win for FC Goa over Sporting Club Delhi in Match 15 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda, Goa. This victory marks FC Goa’s second consecutive win, propelling them to the top of the table with seven points from three matches, while SC Delhi remains at the bottom. Dejan Dražić was named the Player of the Match for his performance.
In the match, FC Goa’s head coach Manolo Márquez made a strategic change by starting Ishan Pandita instead of Muhammed Nemil in the forward position. On the other hand, SC Delhi’s Head Coach Tomasz Tchórz made three alterations to the lineup, including Nora Fernandes in goal, Ayush Adhikari in midfield, and Alex Saji in defense.
Despite both teams applying pressure in the opponent’s half, clear scoring opportunities were scarce due to solid defensive displays. FC Goa broke the deadlock just before halftime when Dejan Dražić netted a well-taken goal off a precise cross from Akash Sangwan, marking his third goal of the season.
Although FC Goa had a chance to extend their lead with a penalty in the second half, Dejan Dražić missed the opportunity by sending the ball over the crossbar. The home team maintained their one-goal advantage by controlling possession and defending resolutely against SC Delhi’s attempts to equalize.
As the match progressed, FC Goa’s defense held firm, denying SC Delhi any significant chances to level the score. Despite efforts from both sides, FC Goa managed to secure the win, continuing their positive momentum in the ISL.
