Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin extended birthday greetings to Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, wishing him good health and happiness. This message was part of a series of well-wishes from leaders across the political spectrum as Rahul Gandhi celebrated his 56th birthday. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also praised Gandhi’s commitment to constitutional values and his advocacy for the marginalized.

Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar conveyed his greetings to Rahul Gandhi, applauding his engagement with people from various societal segments. The Congress party described Gandhi as a leader who consistently stands up for justice and equality. Rahul Gandhi, a senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh, turned 56 on Friday.

Born in 1970, Rahul Gandhi is the son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi. He spent his early years in New Delhi, studied at St. Columba’s School, and later attended The Doon School in Dehradun. After his father’s assassination, he pursued higher education in the United States at Harvard University and later at Rollins College in Florida.

Rahul Gandhi began his professional career in London before returning to India to enter politics in 2004. Representing Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, he has focused on issues such as rural development, education, social welfare, youth participation, and women’s empowerment.
