At least four individuals, including three family members, lost their lives, and nine others sustained injuries in two distinct road accidents in Telangana. In Sangareddy district, three people, including a four-year-old girl, died when the car they were traveling in collided with a road divider near Bachupalli in Kalher mandal. The victims, hailing from Nanded in Maharashtra, were en route to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, to welcome returning relatives from overseas.
The tragic incident occurred as the car driver lost control, leading to the vehicle overturning and plunging off the road, resulting in the immediate demise of two occupants. Following the accident, authorities promptly responded to the scene and initiated rescue operations. Regrettably, one of the injured individuals passed away while being transported to the hospital, with five others receiving treatment at a government medical facility in Narayankhed.
Meanwhile, in Khammam district, another accident claimed one life and left four individuals injured. A collision between a DCM and a private bus near Kodad crossroad in Yedulapuram resulted in injuries, with the wounded individuals being taken to the government hospital in Khammam. The private bus, carrying 40 passengers and en route from Hyderabad to Odisha, was involved in the incident.
In a separate tragic event, a 22-year-old student, identified as Varun and the son of an Army personnel, lost his life after the car he was driving crashed into the boundary wall of an apartment complex in Yapral, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The accident, which occurred under the jurisdiction of Jawahar Nagar police station in Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate, also left two others injured. Authorities suspect that overspeeding may have been a contributing factor to the loss of control over the vehicle.
