Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, Chief Advisor to FWICE, announced the withdrawal of the non-cooperation action against Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. This decision followed consultations with various industry bodies like IMPAA, CINTAA, and the Producers Guild of India. Pandit emphasized the importance of involving producer bodies in resolving industry issues.

He explained that after discussions with IMPAA, the largest producer body, they agreed to withdraw the non-cooperation directive. The aim is to address industry issues collectively and prevent further mistrust. FWICE’s decision to retract non-cooperation paves the way for collaborative efforts with producer bodies to find solutions and ensure industry harmony.

Pandit highlighted the need for unity within the industry to address ongoing challenges effectively. He stressed the importance of resolving conflicts at a senior level and fostering a conducive environment for all stakeholders. The collective efforts of key industry players aim to promote a thriving and sustainable film industry.

Actress Upasana Singh, representing CINTAA, echoed the sentiment of unity within the industry. She emphasized the role of associations in safeguarding the interests of artists and finding amicable solutions to internal conflicts. Singh underscored the collaborative nature of the film industry and the need for dialogue to resolve issues without resorting to legal actions.
