National Award-winning music director and actor G V Prakash humorously revealed an incident involving actor Ken Karunas during the filming of ‘Asuran’. At the audio launch of Ken Karunas’s debut film ‘Youth’, G V Prakash recounted how he advised director Vetrimaran to reshoot Ken’s scenes due to his weight. This led to Ken working hard to shed weight for the close-up shots, much to G V Prakash’s amusement.
In a playful retaliation, Ken complained to G V Prakash’s director Dhanush about the music composed for a film. Despite G V Prakash’s assurance that the songs were good, Ken expressed his dissatisfaction, leading to a humorous exchange between the two. Despite these playful incidents, G V Prakash and Ken Karunas have since become good friends, with G V Prakash even scoring music for Ken Karunas’s first film at no cost.
