Gaganjeet Bhullar, known for his Indian Golf Premier League debut win in 2025, is back at Chandigarh Golf Club to kick off the 2026 season. The IGPL Invitational 2026 in Chandigarh, hosted by K R I S H N A, will see Bhullar heading a strong lineup including Pukhraj Singh Gill and Karandeep Kochhar. The 58-player event from March 11–13 will feature no cut, with amateurs also competing.
The 2025 season saw a tight competition with Pukhraj, Aman Raj, and Bhullar closely contested for the top spot. Notable participants in the upcoming event include Varun Parikh and Manav Shah, among others. Uttam Singh Mundy, CEO of IGPL, expressed excitement for the new season starting in Chandigarh, emphasizing the city’s significance in Indian golf.
Bhullar, a prominent figure in Asian and Indian golf, is set to compete alongside rising stars like Veer Ganapathy and young pros Raghav Chugh and Arjun Bhati. The amateur segment will showcase talents like Harjai Milkha Singh, Krish Chawla, and Chaitanya Pandey. Invited legends like SSP Chawrasia and Gaurav Ghei will also be part of the event.
The field includes multiple winners like Aman Raj, Olympian Udayan Mane, and former champions C. Muniyappa and Chiragh Kumar. Pukhraj Singh Gill, who hails from Ludhiana and now based in Chandigarh, sees IGPL as a platform to advance his golf career. Karandeep Kochhar, another rising star, credits his success to a mix of IGPL and Asian Tour experiences.
