One of India’s successful professionals, Gaganjeet Bhullar, an 11-time Asian Tour winner, will compete against last week’s champion, Sachin Baisoya, as the AM Green IGPL moves to South Africa. The tournament takes place at the esteemed Royal Johannesburg Golf Club, known for its legacy in Africa and globally.
The event in South Africa marks the second in the African leg and the third overall in the 2026 season schedule for the AM Green IGPL. Players will battle it out at the Par-72 Royal Johannesburg West Course, a venue that has previously hosted prestigious golf tournaments like the National Open of South Africa and the Joburg Open.
Joining Bhullar, a four-time winner on the AM Green IGPL Tour, will be Sachin Baisoya, who secured victory in Mauritius last week. Baisoya’s triumph was a significant breakthrough for him after several near misses in the past, adding to his list of professional wins in India.
The field includes rising star Veer Ganapathy, Karandeep Kochhar fresh from a Top-5 finish in Japan, multiple IGPL winner Aman Raj, and Pukhraj Singh Gill, the 2025 AM Green IGPL Order of Merit champion. Other notable participants are Shiv Kapur, Olympian Udayan Mane, and former Asian Tour winners like Chiragh Kumar and Gaurav Ghei.
