Girls have outshined boys in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 final exams in Telangana. The pass percentage for regular candidates has increased to 95.15 this year, up from 92.78 in 2025. A total of 5,16,815 regular students appeared for the exams, with 4,91,774 passing.
Dr. K. Keshava Rao, Advisor to the Government, unveiled the results alongside Yogita Rana, Education Secretary, and E. Naveen Nicolas, Director of School Education. Mulugu district secured the highest pass percentage at 99.30%, followed by Nagarkurnool at 99.03% and Nirmal at 98.96%.
Minister Danasari Seethakka expressed joy over Mulugu district’s top position. Hyderabad, however, ranked last among the 33 districts with 89.23% of students passing the exam. The exams were conducted at 2,676 centers across the state, with a gap of four to five days between each exam, a move appreciated by students and parents.
