The government will inaugurate ‘Wings India 2026’, the largest civil aviation event in Asia, at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad from January 28-31. Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu will lead the opening ceremony, attended by dignitaries from India and abroad. The event aims to showcase the future of global aviation.
The four-day event will host foreign ministerial delegations and government officials from various countries, along with representatives from over 20 nations. This gathering will strengthen international cooperation in the aviation sector. The event will emphasize India’s expanding aviation sector, its global presence, and its ambition to become a significant hub for aviation manufacturing, services, innovation, and sustainable solutions.
‘Wings India 2026’ will include an extensive international exhibition, static aircraft displays, aerobatic shows, a high-level conference, CEO roundtables, business meetings, an aviation job fair, awards ceremony, and cultural programs. The event will see the participation of key stakeholders from the aviation industry, including airlines, aircraft manufacturers, MROs, airport developers, OEMs, technology providers, training institutions, and service partners.
The event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and investors to discuss emerging trends, opportunities, and collaborative strategies shaping the civil aviation sector in India and globally. The international conference will cover 13 thematic sessions, along with the Global CEOs Forum and Ministerial Plenary. Additionally, there will be static aircraft displays, flying demonstrations, and aerobatic shows featuring a diverse range of aircraft.
The event will feature aerial displays by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force. It will offer dedicated spaces for exhibitions, chalets, and business meetings, facilitating networking, partnerships, and investment dialogues.
