The Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat, unveiled the book “Ghosts, Horror and Hills” at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai. Authored by Aditya Kant, known for ‘High on Kasol,’ the book comprises 18 stories emphasizing social service and positivity. Governor Devvrat praised the author for infusing positivity into seemingly eerie tales, highlighting the importance of sensitivity in fostering societal empathy, particularly among the youth.
Books, according to the Governor, are true companions that offer solace and inner strength. Reflecting on his COVID hospitalization, the author shared his urge to aid fellow patients despite facing life-threatening situations. The stories in the book aim to promote cooperation and environmental consciousness. The book launch event was graced by notable personalities from the entertainment and media industries, including Karuna Badwal and Sanjeev Wadhwani.
