A disturbing murder case surfaced in Bengaluru’s Manjunath Nagar, revealing the alleged killing of a 40-year-old man by his former partner and associates. The victim, identified as Mohan Rao, was found dead in a rented house, leading to the arrest of three suspects, including a woman claiming to have acted in films. The suspects, Urmila aka Bindu, Vinay, and Dhanush Gowda, are currently in custody as the investigation progresses.
Mohan Rao, engaged in pigmy collection and small business activities, had been cohabiting with Bindu, despite not being legally married. Bindu, who had developed a relationship with Vinay, allegedly conspired with her associates to murder Mohan Rao. The motive behind the crime seems to stem from Rao’s opposition to Bindu’s new relationship and his insistence on her staying with him. The suspects reportedly intoxicated Rao, stabbed him multiple times, and suffocated him, leaving his body in the same house.
The police disclosed that Dhanush Gowda, a friend of the accused, was involved in the crime at Bindu’s request. While Bindu claimed to have a background in law and minor roles in videos or films, the veracity of her statements is yet to be confirmed. Authorities have initiated a murder investigation, aiming to gather more evidence and establish the sequence of events surrounding the tragic incident.
