Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the Murti Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav at the Shri Sanatan Ramdham Temple in Ahmedabad’s Thaltej area. The event marked the conclusion of a 10-day religious ceremony following the temple’s renovation, which is nearly 90 years old. Patel offered prayers at the newly consecrated Shri Ram Darbar and other idols at the temple.
The restoration and development works at the temple were completed with assistance from the Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board and contributions from donors. Described as a center of devotion and Sanatan values in Ahmedabad, the temple saw the Chief Minister participating in rituals inside the sanctum sanctorum in the presence of saints and priests.
The temple resonated with devotional chants as devotees gathered for the Mahotsav’s final day. Former Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel also attended the ceremony, along with religious leaders and saints like Dilipdas Maharaj, Mohandas Maharaj, and Rajendra Prasad Shastri. The event included various religious programs, prayers, and rituals over the past 10 days, culminating in special worship ceremonies on the final day.
