Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, on his way back to Gandhinagar from an official event, unexpectedly stopped at Ambali village in Anand district. He interacted with schoolchildren and villagers who had gathered to greet him, deviating from the usual protocol. Patel engaged with the children, inquiring about their education, encouraging them to stay dedicated to their studies, and motivating them to strive for success. Additionally, he met with villagers, ensuring them of the government’s commitment to responsive governance.
During his visit, Patel also noticed a biogas plant at a local residence and took the opportunity to meet the owner, farmer Vitthalbhai Parmar. He discussed the plant’s operations, its benefits, and its duration of functioning with Parmar. Expressing his joy and pride, Parmar mentioned his surprise and gratitude for the Chief Minister’s personal interest in their well-being.
The Chief Minister’s impromptu visit occurred as he was returning from Vadodara after attending an official function. He participated in the virtual inauguration of four redeveloped railway stations in Gujarat under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the upgraded stations at Pratapnagar in Vadodara, Godhra, Porbandar, and Bhaktinagar from Jalandhar. Patel specifically attended the event at Pratapnagar railway station in Vadodara, where the station was revamped with improved facilities and heritage-inspired architecture.
