The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) announced the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam results, showing an overall pass rate of 83.86%, up from last year’s 82.56%. Among regular candidates, 7,56,392 out of 7,69,993 who registered appeared, with 6,34,327 passing.
For repeater candidates, out of 70,934 who registered, 67,404 appeared, and 22,598 passed, resulting in a 33.53% pass rate. Under the GSOS category, 23,353 out of 25,313 candidates appeared, with 6,590 qualifying, achieving a pass percentage of 28.22%.
Girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 88.28% compared to boys’ 80.12%, marking an 8.16 percentage point difference. A total of 35,508 students secured the A1 grade, an increase of 7,453 from the previous year.
At the center level, Ajol center in Gandhinagar saw a 100% pass rate, while Mun Khosla center in Dahod had the lowest at 33.74%. Narmada district had the highest result at 90.85%, with Panchmahal recording the lowest at 76.42%.
