Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, at a felicitation event for 35 successful UPSC Civil Services candidates from Gujarat, emphasized the importance of staying grounded despite professional achievements. Sanghavi commended the candidates and their families, noting the significant increase in successful candidates from Gujarat in recent years.

He credited the success to the focus on strengthening the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) and reforms initiated during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister. Sanghavi urged the candidates to maintain humility, emphasizing the value of remaining connected to their roots throughout their careers to earn public respect.

Encouraging the candidates to address administrative challenges and provide practical solutions, Sanghavi highlighted the critical role of officers in understanding and solving grassroots-level issues. SPIPA officials welcomed the candidates, emphasizing the importance of civil services as a platform for serving the nation and society.

SPIPA Director General Harit Shukla announced plans to establish a new SPIPA center in Gandhinagar with state government support, aiming to further enhance training opportunities for aspiring civil servants.
