Energy and Panchayat Minister Rushikesh Patel criticized Congress workers for protesting at the AI Summit, calling it shameful for the country. He expressed that internal matters should not be showcased on foreign platforms, likening it to not airing family disputes in front of guests. Patel accused Congress of opposing India’s interests abroad, which he believes damages the nation’s reputation.
Highlighting Gujarat’s achievements and future plans, Patel mentioned advancements in technology, innovation, infrastructure, and youth development. He emphasized the state’s commitment to building a skilled workforce through initiatives like the ‘Namo Gujarat Skill and Employment Mission’ with a budget allocation of Rs 226 crore.
The minister also noted the progress in technical education, citing an increase in seat occupancy in degree and diploma engineering programs. He highlighted Gujarat’s leadership in the startup sector and the significant budget allocation of over Rs 850 crore for AI and digital governance initiatives, including the establishment of a Data Fusion Centre and a Centre of Excellence.
