The Guwahati Asian Film Festival’s second day at Jyoti Chitraban saw packed screenings and high audience participation. Five films from Assam, Manipur, and Vietnam were showcased, attracting a diverse audience. This festival, featuring 26 films over four days, highlights the richness of Asian and Indian cinema.
On the third day, the festival will present a variety of films including ‘River Tales,’ ‘Blossoming Almond,’ ‘Victoria,’ ‘Imbu,’ ‘Parobasi,’ and more. Additionally, workshops and masterclasses will enhance discussions on film culture. Notable sessions include a masterclass on film review and a discussion on indie films by industry experts.
The Guwahati Asian Film Festival, supported by Trending Now Media, NFDC, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, will run until January 25. With a lineup of regional, national, and international films, this festival promotes cultural exchange and brings Asian cinema to the Northeast region.
