Hanuman Beniwal, the National President of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and a Member of Parliament from Nagaur, described the scrapping of the SI Recruitment-2021 test and the subsequent announcement of fresh recruitment by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and state government as a significant triumph for the movement led by his party. Beniwal demanded that the Central Bureau of Investigation take over the probe into the paper leak incidents to ensure accountability against those believed to be the masterminds behind the malpractices.
Speaking at a press conference in Jaipur, Beniwal criticized the Rajasthan government, highlighting issues such as paper leaks, corruption, escalating crime rates, and the deteriorating governance standards in the state. He accused some Congress leaders of involvement in the paper leak scandal, alleging that individuals responsible for jeopardizing the prospects of the youth in the past were now openly challenging the current regime.
Beniwal emphasized the need for a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry to uncover the true orchestrators of the scam. He also targeted the functioning of the present administration, claiming that the Chief Minister lacked control over his departments and alleging deep-rooted corruption within government establishments. The RLP leader further alleged that officials appointed by the Bharatiya Janata Party during the previous Congress government were implicated in activities like phone tapping of BJP leaders and facilitating raids on their homes, suggesting a clandestine understanding between certain sections of the BJP and Congress leadership.
