Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has taken a significant step by transferring Rs 1,665.25 crore directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries across 18 government schemes. This move aims to enhance social welfare delivery in the state. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment and economic development, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

In a specific update, the Chief Minister announced the release of the sixth instalment under the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi’ scheme, amounting to Rs 203.28 crore distributed among 9.68 lakh women beneficiaries. The total disbursement under this scheme has now reached Rs 1,038.05 crore across six instalments. Looking ahead, the Budget 2026-27 has allocated Rs 6,500 crore for the scheme, showcasing the government’s continued support for social security initiatives.

Furthermore, under 15 social security pension schemes, a total of Rs 1,144.55 crore has been directly transferred to 35.55 lakh beneficiaries. These schemes encompass various welfare pensions, including old-age and disability pensions. The Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s shift towards a ‘pro-active governance model,’ leveraging the Parivar Pehchan Patra database to streamline benefit distribution without the need for applications or office visits.

In another development, financial assistance amounting to Rs 298.07 crore was provided to 7,875 families under the Dayalu Scheme. This assistance is part of the ongoing efforts to support families in need. Additionally, a subsidy of Rs 19.35 crore has been released to 645 farmers from Scheduled Castes to aid in the purchase of tractors, with each eligible farmer receiving a subsidy of Rs 3 lakh.

Addressing a tragic incident in Faridabad where two firefighters lost their lives, the government has decided to provide immediate relief to their families. Each family will receive Rs 30 lakh, with Rs 10 lakh from the Haryana Parivar Suraksha Nyas and Rs 20 lakh from the CM Relief Fund. Furthermore, one dependent from each family will be offered a job under Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam (HKRN).
