Haryana’s Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Rajesh Nagar, reassured the public that there is no shortage of domestic LPG in the state and urged citizens not to panic. Any issues related to LPG are promptly addressed, with the situation regarding LPG cylinders being normal. The government has taken strict actions against black marketing and illegal use of LPG cylinders, with eight FIRs filed, involving 52 individuals and seizing 825 cylinders.

He cautioned against spreading rumors, particularly in light of tensions in the Middle East. Notably, 131 domestic LPG cylinders were seized from Jhajjar, 109 from Mahendragarh, and various others from different regions, with FIRs registered and vehicles seized during the crackdown.

Commercial LPG supply has also been steady, with 848 19-kg commercial cylinders delivered over 25 days and a current stock of 179,566 cylinders at bottling plants. The department affirmed the smooth operation of petrol, diesel, and domestic LPG supply across Haryana, with major oil companies like Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) having ample stock.
