Over 15,000 incidents of robbery, snatching, and theft were reported in Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2025, resulting in a financial loss exceeding PKR 3.05 billion, as per police statistics. The district witnessed a total of 75,576 cases across various categories, indicating the law-and-order situation in the region.
In the same year, Faisalabad recorded 15,593 cases of robbery, street crime, and theft, with specific details such as 6,124 highway robberies, 1,420 snatching incidents, and 56 road blockades. Criminal activities extended to targeting 145 houses and 245 commercial establishments, resulting in casualties and significant property losses.
Moreover, the criminal activities included the snatching of 1,234 motorcycles, eight cars, and 19 other vehicles, along with organized theft gangs stealing thousands of vehicles. The year also saw a total of 311 reported murders, including cases related to honor killings, personal enmity, and land disputes, with firearms and axe attacks being common methods.
A notable aspect was the occurrence of 119 police encounters with criminals, leading to the death of 63 alleged robbers and injuries to several others. Additionally, cases of kidnapping, sexual assault, and traffic accidents were reported, reflecting a challenging security landscape in Faisalabad during 2025.
