Himachal Pradesh BJP President Rajeev Bindal criticized the Congress party and its central leadership for disregarding democratic traditions and constitutional norms. He claimed that instead of engaging in parliamentary discussions, the Congress is resorting to disruptive street politics to advance its agenda. Bindal emphasized that actions like attempting to march to the Prime Minister’s residence and inciting violence do not align with democratic principles but rather challenge constitutional institutions.

Bindal highlighted the commitment of the BJP-led Central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to safeguard the future of the nation’s youth. He announced a new initiative to address examination paper leaks swiftly and decisively. The government plans to establish fast-track courts to expedite trials related to paper leaks, ensuring prompt and stringent punishment for those involved. Bindal described this decision as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to protect students’ interests.

The BJP President reiterated the government’s dedication to upholding fairness, transparency, and integrity in the examination system. He emphasized that stringent actions have been taken in response to the paper leaks, including involving the CBI, conducting re-examinations, and implementing technological reforms. Bindal stressed that such measures send a strong message that any attempts to compromise students’ futures will be met with firm legal action.

In a direct criticism of the Congress party, Bindal questioned its priorities and methods of protest. He suggested that instead of disruptive tactics, the Congress should engage constructively in parliamentary discussions and offer meaningful solutions. Bindal raised concerns about the Congress’s decision to march towards the Prime Minister’s residence and besiege the BJP headquarters, questioning the party’s approach to democratic protests and political confrontations.
