Hina portrayed Akshara Singhania in the long-running show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, while Sanjeev played her father Vishambharnath “Vishambhar” Maheshwari.
Premiered in January 2009, “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” remains one of India’s enduring TV shows, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. Hina’s character was paired with Karan Mehra in the series, which has introduced new storylines with subsequent generations following the original lead couple.
