Hitaashee Bakshi is making a comeback to Leg-9 of the domestic Women’s Professional Golf Tour at Clover Greens to regain her top form. Struggling on the Ladies European Tour, she will compete against players like Vani Kapoor, Ridhima Dilawari, and Amandeep Drall, as well as a group of young talents including Anvitha Narender, Mannat Brar, and others.
This marks Hitaashee’s first appearance on the domestic Tour this season after her stint on the Ladies European Tour. The competition at Clover Greens in Tamil Nadu is fierce, with over 50 players, including 10 amateurs, vying for a purse of Rs.17 lakh.
The field is strong, with top players like Vani, Ridhima, and Hitaashee facing tough challenges from the emerging talents. Ridhima has been the standout performer this season, securing three wins out of the eight events held so far, while other players have also tasted success.
Ridhima Dilawari currently leads the WPGT Order of Merit, followed by Jasmine Shekar and Amandeep Drall. In a recent event, Ridhima showcased her resilience by overcoming a slow start to clinch her third win, edging past Jasmine Shekar. The competition remains intense as players strive for victory and ranking points.
