A hospital operator and doctor in Lucknow have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a female patient inside an Operation Theatre at Tejas Hospital. The incident was reported to the police at Bakshi Ka Talab Police Station on May 21. The victim accused the hospital operator and doctor of inappropriate behavior during her treatment.
Police swiftly responded to the complaint and launched an investigation at Tejas Hospital. The accused, identified as Vijay Kumar Giri, was taken into custody after initial inquiries and evidence collection. He disclosed that the assault occurred on May 21 while the victim was undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The accused admitted to raping the victim inside the hospital’s Operation Theatre during questioning. Following the arrest, the accused was produced in court and remanded to judicial custody.
