Hridaynath Mangeshkar, brother of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, aims to establish Asia’s largest hospital honoring the musical icons. He shared, “We are striving for this to be the biggest hospital in Asia, with a significant land area dedicated to it.” The hospital might bear the name ‘Lata-Asha Institute of Medical Sciences’ or ‘Lata-Asha Mangeshkar Ayurvidhya Sansthan’.

Plans also include the creation of a museum showcasing the musical heritage of the Mangeshkar family, offering interactive music learning opportunities. Further project specifics will be disclosed in due course. Asha Bhosle, who recently passed away in Mumbai at 92, received a farewell attended by numerous entertainment industry figures.

Celebrities like Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Tabu, among others, paid their respects during the final rites at Shivaji Park. Singers Shaan and Sudesh Bhosale rendered a heartfelt rendition of Asha Bhosle’s classic ‘Abhi Na Jao Chhodkar’. Shreya Ghoshal also honored the late legend by performing her iconic songs during a London concert.

Asha Bhosle was accorded a guard of honor at her Mumbai residence and cremated with full state honors, draped in the national flag.
